Stone Crossing Footbridge

Located in Kent, Stone Crossing Station is operated by South Eastern Trains. As part of the North Kent Line; the station gives access to travellers from Stone Crossing to Gravesend & Gillingham in the eastbound direction and westbound to London Charing Cross via one of three lines.

Until recently, access between platforms 1 & 2 was achieved by a foot crossing. As part of a nationwide Network Rail improvement scheme, a new bridge with access ramps provides safe passage for the general public between Charles Street & Church Hill and between platforms 1 & 2 for train travellers.

Chromatica RL348 & RL648 LED handrail luminaries are used to illuminate the north / south bridge staircases and access ramps, whilst luminaires are positioned in a SHS just below the top chord of the span parapet.
