Convention Centre Dublin

To provide the focal point within the multi floor glass fronted “drum” entrance to the Convention Centre Dublin, Chromatica were commissioned to manufacture a bespoke LED chandelier.

The chandelier measures 9M in diameter, weights 400kg and is suspended from one of the building ring beams. Manufactured in sections, the chandelier was assembled onsite, and lifted into location using a team of rigging engineers from the concert entertainment industry.

LED luminaires are controlled using DMX drivers in a bespoke cabinet located on one of the upper floors of the building. The DMX LED drivers are interfaced with the building KNX system, to enable control via the Building Management System
