Fareham Station
Originally opened in 1841 as part of the London & South Western Railway, Fareham Station now forms part of the West Coastway Line running between Brighton and Southampton Central.
As part of a station refurbishment a new staircase has been constructed from the Avenue (A27) rising up to the station car park. To illuminate the staircase Chromatica have manufactured and installed LED luminaires within the staircase handrail system.
Chromatica RL648 LED handrail luminaries are mounted in the handrails on both sides of the staircase and supplied with 24.0V DC from an AC/DC power supply housed in a stainless steel electrical cubicle located on the car park boundary wall.
Equipment:
• 16 x RL648.ASY.WH.MD Chromatica LED handrail luminaires
• 1 x CHR.PSU.SPE1 Chromatica power supply unit
• Handrail supply and install by others.
